Josh comes up Aces!?
Josh had an interactive and enjoyable session. There was equipment, TV display and an actual teaching session outside. A very enjoyable session, thanks Josh!
Which Greek God are you?
Kaden was a leader in our room for using media in Teach the Teacher. He had an incredibly well organised session. There was an appropriate youtube clip, a quiz to check we were listening and a wonderful presentation from an eager and passionate young teacher!
Nicholas Squashes in some Teaching
Nicholas has skills in many areas, math, robotics, EPro8 and now we find out also squash. He taught us all about this game and it's court which involves the walls and roof! A great session.
Sam and his hot chocolate...
Two of our new favourite visitors came to school with Sam. He brought in his beautiful bunnies to cuddle during his Teach the Teacher session. Sam is a very good pet owner, they loved him.
Here is Sam with Marshmallow and Cocoa.

Jonty and Summer Shake their Shorts for the Hospice!
On Tuesday MSS had a fundraiser for the Arohanui Hospice. As it was the shortest day of the year (Winter solstice) we all wore shorts! Two children from each senior class were chosen to represent their class and had to dance and strut their shorts to the whole team so we could vote an outstanding, overall winner. We raised over $500! Well done MSS.
Congratulations Summer who got the most votes for her bright, bold combo!

Jas Brings in the Bird!
Jasmin brought in her talented and rather cute budgie Houdini. She is friendly and free range! Houdini is allowed out and flys at will around Jasmin's house. She performed for us, displaying her voice and her circular swinging.
Rm I make Mrs Palmer Proud!
Mrs Palmer is really proud of Rm I. Look at the message Mrs Keen left before school yesterday.
They were busy playing Lego, practicing Rakau, reading, playing with the connectable blocks and generally being wonderful students!
Summer Teaches the Teacher!
Summer's Mum Nic holding Trixie and Summer holding Pixie.
This week our Teach the Teacher was very exciting. Summer ran a well organised, interesting and factual session about the care of guinea pigs.
Thanks Summer we loved this teaching session!
