Today we were lucky enough to have Mr Rogers come in to fly his amazing drone. First thing he did was go over things what his drone could do and the height it can go (which is 120m ). He set his drone autotask to do a task- go round the schools boundary. It had a rough takeoff and flipped over but luckily it wasn' the biggest crash he's had. It flew up to 75 meters then came down. It was a pretty smooth landing. Thanks for coming Mr Rogers.

Wheely Fun!?
What an amazing day for Wheels 500. The sun was out, the sky was clear and wheels were racing. The Seniors whizzed through the middle part of the day achieving some impressive lap totals.
The Red Rainbow in Action...
As part of this week's homework Rm I students had to choose an award category, identify a class mate and create a certificate for their chosen winner. What a wonderful effort some of our learners put in. Here are the lucky recipients.

Manchester Kindergarten shares Matariki with the Senior Team
Last Friday the Senior Team Kapahaka was joined by some lovely littlies from Manchester Kindergarten who performed their Matariki waiata for us. We loved it! They were so confident and cute and a credit to their teachers.

Term 2 Celebration
Wow, what a treat the school had on Friday afternoon. For our end of term celebration we were invited to watch the Middles perform their plays that they had written, designed, created and performed by themselves. The plays had minimal teacher input and were products of each room's creativity and imagination. They were based on traditional tales but rewritten with clever twists.
Thank you Middles, we all really enjoyed viewing your shows and were impressed with the huge amount of time and effort you put into them!
An Extra End of Term Treat...
A big thank you once again to the wonderful Focal Point Cinema. They have issued each class with two free movie tickets and a class set of colouring competitions.
Best behaviour for the last week Seniors and you might be the lucky recipient of a free movie!
