Proffessor Paige presents...
Hi, I'm Professor Paige and today's Fun with Science post is all about reactions. I am going to mix baking soda and vinegar for a big result. I have made a paper mache volcano and added red food colouring. Look at the photos below for the fun reaction we witnessed. You can do this at home... but do it over the sink!

Sand Sculptures
The Senior Team are exploring a big question in Inquiry-"What does climate change mean for the oceans of the world?"
We spent a happy hour in the school sandpit replicating our cancelled trip to Himatangi Beach. We worked in groups of 3 to create using resources from nature.
Check out what we created.
Soccer Skills
Yesterday all the girls in the middle and senior school had an amazing soccer opportunity. Jess from Central Football came and ran 3 skills sessions between morning tea and lunch. It was a lot of fun and enjoyable to interact with different classes. Many skills were practiced and learnt.
Cupcakes for all!
Room I were surprised by the Cupcake Fairy yesterday. It was Trinity's birthday and her Mum brought in a cupcake for every single child in Rm I and their teacher!
What a lovely treat.
