Cyber Safety in the Senior Team

In the Senior team we have been learning about Cyber Safety. Each day we rotate around the senior classes to learn different things.

Did you know:
  • viruses can get spread to your friends through your contacts.
  • the Grandma Rule is that if you can't show your grandma, you shouldn't put it on the internet.
  • some people can hack into your computer and take your personal information.
  • Never post  information about a holiday you are about to go on. It may alert people that your house is empty.
  • People from overseas use malware to hack into your computer.
  • Don't click on Pop ups as they could be  virus.

Amazing Room S Caterpillars And Butterfly's by Zak and Jaycob.

This is the first butterfly that hatched!

Slowly the chubby caterpillar changes into a lime green chrysalis and after a few weeks it changes into a beautiful butterfly.

This caterpillar only took a few minutes to climb into his closet to change its clothes, in a few weeks it's going to change into a butterfly. The finished lime green chrysalis.

This is the time it took the little caterpillar to make his chrysalis wow! That's quick, Usain bolt caterpillar away!!!

This chrysalis has been here for a few weeks, we hope it hatches soon!

Room S Aliazire

Our Monarch Butterfly

Room S has some new class mates! We have two swan plants with caterpillars, a chrysalis and we have just had a butterfly hatch out.

Life cycle of a butterfly.
1. The butterfly lays eggs on the swan plant leaves.
2. The egg hatches and out crawls a caterpillar.
3. The caterpillar eats lots of leaves.
4. The caterpillar turns into a chrysalis.
5. Out breaks a beautiful Monarch butterfly.

We took the butterfly outside and watched it fly away.

Bryson's Gorgeous Visitor

Today Bryson's Mum Melissa brought in their new puppy Rocky. He is a 9wk Border Collie puppy. He was very well behaved and a bundle of cheeky mischief. We are all very jealous of Bryson!

Students as teachers

Today, Summer showed Mrs Reynolds how to upload an article for our Blog. We had lots of fun, laughter and learning. Summer is a fantastic teacher and Mrs Reynolds was a star pupil. Tyla was our fantastic photographer.

2017 Room S Aliazire and Blake W

The man from Rosco's brought us some sawdust for our long jump pit.

The truck had a tray on the back which tipped up, so the sawdust fell off.

Mr. Belk used a rake to spread the sawdust around.

Now the long jump pit is ready for us to use.
Thank you Mr. Belk
