Anya's teach the teacher

In term 1 the class did  Teach the Teacher.  For  mine I did  science . My science was called Walking  Water . To  do this  you need 2 cups ,  paper towels , water  and if want food coloring . Fill 1 cup half way and the other cup a quarter of the way . Secondly add any color food coloring ( optional ) , Put down   the 2 cups on a flat surface and slightly twist the two paper towels , and put 1 end of the towel in any cup and the other side in the cup beside it. Lastly watch the quarter of water go in the half full cup.  It may take a few hours for it but hopefully not.

Hamish's Ultimate Soccer Game.

Do you like playing sport ?

Well if you do, I've got the game for you. Soccer. There are 11 people in each team 7 subs and 5 reserves.
In each team there is 1 Goalkeeper, 4 Midfielders, 2 Forwards and 4 Defenders. Only the Goalkeeper can use his hands. We played for awhile and it ended up with it 2-1 to us. Here are some photos.

GO HOME STAY HOME 123

Harrison's teach the teacher

Do you like games?   Well I've got the thing for you. 'My teach the teacher was Go Home Stay Home 123.

First you need taggers depending on how many people are playing. The players will go find a spot to hide.

The taggers will count to 45.When  the taggers have finished counting the players tried to get back to their base.

When the players have got back to the base, assuming they HAVEN'T BEEN TAGGED   while you're

touching the base, you say, GO HOME STAY HOME 123. The people who just got tagged by the

Taggers are now  a tagger in the next round. SEE YOU ON THE FIELD PROS.

Monty's dog buzz

When Monty's dog buzz came in he was full of excitement and joy. He is so fluffy he gets trimed every 6 weeks that's how fluffy he is. They got him when he was 2 years of age.  He is turning 4 on December the 12. We got to see how fast he is but he didn't want to share his talent so he just walked. He is the dog that loves attention so when Monty tried to throw the tennis ball he just stood there getting patted by all the students.

Madis project on Ireland

For my intrepid  journey I researched Ireland. It is in northwestern Europe and has the population of 4,713,933 people and is also has a land area 4 times smaller than New Zealand!! The bordering countries are Wales,  Scotland and England. Ireland is called Èireann in Gaelic which is one of the languages they speak. Dublin is the capital city of Ireland and also the titanic was built in Belfast. Prime minister, Enda Kenny was born April 24th 1951 .He grew up in CastleBar Republic of Ireland. He has been leader of the Fine Gael since 2002.By Madi

Penny

For my teach the teacher I brought in my
beautiful pet lamb called Penny.
She loved our luscious  green grass
especially the dazzling daisies.
Penny also went for a run around
the track with room T.
I think she was the fastest out
of everyone .

Room T's Action packed ENVIRO DAY!

On Friday Room T was hard at work in our garden helping the environment meanwhile others were sizzling the frying pan making scrumptious pikelets. Everybody was doing their bit to stop the weeds taking over our lovely garden. We had spades, forks, rakes, and many other gardening tools. We had our fabulous Room T photographers taking magnificent gardening photos. While we were in the garden the weather wasn't as perfect as the pikelets. Special thanks to Mrs Munro and Mr Ward for helping out.

Smack Bang M.S.S Takes the win

On the 15th of November, the Manchester Street Table Tennis Team took on the best the Manawatu had to offer in the  battle to win the title. Who was in are team you may ask. It was Brooke, Crystal, Ella, Quinn,  Kade, Nic, Nickolas and finally me/Cate.  It was a great day as some of us won our own separate titles as well as some team ones. The boys came second  overall and the girls came fourth overall and all together we came SECOND. Round of applause please...  I would definitely do it next year.
