Constable Cree comes to talk about Cyber Safety.

Today Constable Cree came to talk to the seniors about keeping ourself safe on the Internet.
Did you know that the legal age for having a Facebook page is 13?
If you put something on the internet it is there FOREVER!!!!
The internet is a great tool but it must be used correctly. Like all tools you must know the safety rules and precautions to use it.
You need to be aware that you have absolutely no idea who is actually behind the screen when communicating with others. Don't believe everything you are told by others on the internet. Don't give out any personal information!!!!
Even children have legal consequences when using the internet to harm others.

Some questions we were able to ask constable Cree:
Do virus protectors protector all our devices.
Who do you go to if you are cyber bullied?
How do you deal with cyber bullies?
If you are being blackmailed by someone what should you do?
What should you do if someone was using your internet gear?
How do you know what sites to trust to sign up to.
How do cyber bullies get your details.
What is the age limit for YouTube?
How do you disable hacking monitors?
Why do people want to spread viruses?
Is it possible to hack onto gaming consoles?
What are good virus protection programmes?
How do you know if you have been hacked?
How do they know your password?
What can be accessed  with your password?
Constable Cree was very busy writing these questions down and will come back with some answers to  these questions. Remember to discuss these things at home. You may be the person who has to share this information with your parents and family.
If you have any questions, please add a comment and we will need to put it on our wondering wall.
